About The BooK

This novel is a supernatural adventure story about the supernatural events that happened in October, 1982 that continue to this day. It is based on a true story.  In 1917 Our Lady of Fatima requested three children to go to the pope and have him consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart with the bishops of the church.  Two popes, pope Paul and pope John Paul II, did consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart but not as requested with the bishops. I’m the physician depicted in the novel and the “beautiful blond” in the novel is my wife. In the novel and in real life, I’m supposed to convince the pope to consecrate Russia as requested in 1917 in the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Moscow (not in the Vatican).  The consecration is to be done to avoid a nuclear holocaust.  It is also a love story. Most people think they are the hero of their life story but as in the novel and in real life, my wife is the hero of my life story.

“Across from the coffee shop was Tears Church, Weiskirche. It was a beautiful pastel pilgrim church in a meadow. I looked at the alter picture of the scourged savior. Jesus was chained and being whipped. Suddenly I became aware of a thought or idea that entered my head that there was a God. “I love you and your sins are forgiven.”  I was instantly converted much like St Paul on the road to Damascus.

From the piano came a melancholy song by Michael Jarry, “A Man Like You and Me.” The lyrics

“If a man is rich and powerful.

If a man is a king.

It does not matter.

He is still a slave to his fate.

We are all slaves,

whether king or beggar,

We are all equal in this world.”

I was trapped in the hallway. I turned to leave but the door was locked. I was frightened since, being a physician and growing up in New York City, most people were familiar with the Coconut Grove night club fire in 1921 where people were burned alive since they were locked in. IN every Western country since then there is a law that you can’t lock people in. Eventually a man with dark hair came and he couldn’t open the door. I looked up at the stairway and saw a Christmas tree and then an Easter candle and then the face of Jesus. I was petrified. A moment later a lady with blond hair opened the door. The next day I bought a book of saints and on July 23 the feast day of St Bridget of Sweden, there was the face of the lady who let us out of the hallway.
